KnKut Mechanics Length Step Point Drill Bits are built from high-speed steel with a self-centering split tip, so you can drill straight into metal without a center punch. The step point design starts the cut cleanly and keeps the bit on target even on curved or uneven surfaces.

The shorter mechanics length OAL is ideal for tight spaces on the shop floor, under a hood, or in a chassis. Available in fractional sizes and 1/2" reduced shank for use in a standard 3/8" chuck. Every bit is USA-made and built for production use in auto shops, fabrication, and industrial maintenance.
